A Future For True Creatives.

Half Normal is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community via specialized music and arts education. We aim to educate the future generation of musicians, DJs, performers, visual artists and sound engineers in a hands-on environment with an exceptional collection of studio-grade audio gear, DAW workstations and synthesizers (including Eurorack modular). But more than just a school, Half Normal is also a community center. Members are welcome and encouraged to visit the campus often either for free events and performances or to just hang out with like-minded people. We have found that the best art often comes from collaboration and we strive to create an atmosphere where that is easy and fun.

Most music and art schools have financial barriers in place that prevent many people who are interested (and have real talent) from participating. Our goal is to offer lower priced alternatives to those that need it and even full scholarships for especially motivated students.

A staff of dedicated professional educators, engineers and artists will be working closely with each student to ensure that their creative goals are accomplished. Whether you’re interested in Ableton Live, modular synthesis, DJing, or maybe you just want to get that EP that you’ve been working on forever finally finished; we are here to help!
